Feral Cats

Charleston Animal Society encourages you to trap feral or neighborhood cats for spaying or neutering through our TVAR (Trap, Vaccinate, Alter, Return) program. The program is for cats trapped in the City of Charleston, the City of North Charleston, and the Town of Mount Pleasant.

All cats will receive:

·         Spay or Neuter Surgery

·         Microchip

·         Rabies Vaccine

·         FVRCP Vaccine

·         Left ear tip

An appointment is required to bring in a feral/neighborhood cat for the TVAR program. Appointments can be made at https://tinyurl.com/TVARCats

Cats must be brought in a trap. Each appointment is for 1 cat. If you are bringing in 2 cats you must schedule 2 appointments. There is a 2-cat maximum per person. We have traps available for rent.

Contact our Animal Resource Center at help@charlestonanimalsociety.org or 843-747-4849 for questions and more information about our City of Chas, City of N Chas, and Town of Mt Pleasant TVAR Program.
