Position Summary
Charleston Animal Society is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Shelter Partnership Manager to support our statewide initiative. This role advances lifesaving outcomes by strengthening
partnerships with open-admission shelters across South Carolina.

Key Responsibilities
• Build relationships with partner shelters, particularly open-admission
• Assess shelter operations and recommend strategies
• Provide training and engagement to improve outcomes
• Manage statewide shelter partnerships
• Recruit veterinarians to support shelter health services
• Organize Pick Me! SC and Spay Week initiatives
• Track data and report progress

Qualifications
• 2+ years in account management, business development, or shelter operations
• Animal welfare or veterinary experience preferred
• Strong organization and self-management
• Excellent communication and relationship-building
• Ability to work independently with strong follow-through
• Understanding of animal welfare trends
• Commitment to increasing lifesaving outcomes
• CAWA preferred

Requirements
• Minimum 50% statewide travel
• Valid driver’s license with excellent driving record
• Successful completion of drug screening and background check
