Director of Donor Advisement
Reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer, this position is responsible for the design, development and implementation of major donor stewardship, cultivation, solicitation and planned giving strategies. This position works very closely with the philanthropy, communications, and marketing teams. This position will be responsible for stewarding and establishing funding relationships to secure resources that will support Charleston Animal Society’s current program services and future strategic goals. A skillful manager of process and persuasion that compels donors to action. Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities under pressure. This position requires frequent evening and some weekend hours to accomplish expected goals. The ideal candidate is a person of integrity, loyalty, and a capacity for hard work and long hours on occasion.
