Help Animals While Earning Service Hours from Home
Earning service hours has never been so rewarding. By completing an approved service project, you’ll not only earn volunteer hours but also provide comfort, enrichment, and care for the animals who need it most.
Please plan ahead—projects require approval before you start, since shelter needs change throughout the year, and the process takes time.
We cannot sign off on hours if steps are not followed.
Here’s how to get started:
- Step 1: For projects under 10 hours, choose an activity from our Boredom Busters booklet and submit a project approval form. You must wait for a project confirmation email before you begin. For projects over 10 hours, email Heather Grogan at [email protected] to explore ideas.
- Step 2: Gather your supplies and complete your approved project.
- Step 3: Email [email protected] to schedule a drop-off and share the impact of your work!
If none of the options above apply to you, don’t worry! There are so many ways to make a difference! From creating crafts with our Boredom Busters booklet to hosting online fundraisers or collecting wish list items, every project helps animals in need.
