Bambi: Free to be ME

Bambi arrived at Charleston Animal Society after being found as a stray on the streets of downtown Charleston. Our animal care team noted that she was extremely shy and fearful of the world around her. While we often do not know the root cause of fear behaviors in animals like Bambi, our expert animal care team works diligently to ensure each animal finds a home where they can thrive.

After ten days in our care Bambi found a loving family that has allowed her to gain confidence in a comfortable and safe environment. She enjoys spending time with her canine and human siblings and taking trips to local beaches. Bambi has even learned how to “come” and “sit” and is already fully crate trained. The support of our community makes it possible for us to help animals like Bambi find homes where they can be free of fear and distress.
