YOUR GIFT TO CHARLESTON ANIMAL SOCIETY GOES TWICE AS FAR ON GIVING TUESDAY

Anonymous donor offers $50,000 match for the animals.

North Charleston – On Giving Tuesday, your support of Charleston Animal Society’s lifesaving mission will go twice as far.  An anonymous donor is providing a $50,000 match — meaning your gift doubles through midnight on Tuesday, November 28th. Go to CharlestonAnimalSociety.org/GivingTuesday to donate.

When you give, you’re helping to feed dogs like Rosie who came in just before Thanksgiving with her ribs and spine poking through her fur. She is on the road to recovery, thanks to our community supporters. (SEE VIDEO HERE)

“Skyrocketing shelter intake of animals, combined with a veterinary shortage across the state is creating an unprecedented crisis for our lifesaving team,” said Charleston Animal Society President and CEO Joe Elmore, CAWA, CFRE. “When you give, you are helping us through this crisis as we continue to take in 90% of the animals in Charleston County.”

Through adoptions, fostering, spay-neuter, cruelty case investigations and emergency transports, Charleston Animal Society touches the lives of almost 20,000 animals every year. It’s only possible with the help of generous donors.

Please give now at CharlestonAnimalSociety.org/GivingTuesday and your gift will go twice as far on November 28th. Please give back to help the animals that provide us with unconditional love each and every day.

#GivingTuesday, is held the Tuesday after Thanksgiving across the U.S. It is touted as a “global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world”.
