CHARLESTON ANIMAL SOCIETY AND HENDRICK CHARLESTON TEAM UP ON "HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS!"

The elves at Charleston Animal Society and Hendrick Charleston are offering a special holiday delivery service. Adopters can opt to have their new pet delivered straight to their doorstep by a team of Santa's helpers on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.

It was Charleston Animal Society's hope and understanding based on comments made by County Council representatives at a November 8th meeting that we would continue to work together on a month-to-month basis while we move forward in finding common ground for a contractual relationship.

Paws in the Park Returns

Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 at the gate, which include free oysters and chili! Back by popular demand, the Chili Cook-off will showcase 29 of Charleston’s best local restaurants and amazing local chefs competing for the title of chili champion.

Mission Pawsible: Success

A big thank you to everyone who attended Charleston Animal Society's highly anticipated annual Gala, “Mission Pawsible,” held on October 12, 2024, at the Charleston Gaillard Center. Almost 500 people enjoyed a dazzling evening of celebration and fundraising while marking the 150th anniversary of Charleston Animal Society’s commitment to preventing cruelty to animals.

CHARLESTON ANIMAL SOCIETY LAUNCHES INNOVATIVE NEW PROGRAM TO KEEP ANIMALS OUT OF SHELTER

Charleston Animal Society is launching an innovative new program called Home To Home® designed to help animals skip the shelter altogether. "With Home To Home, we now offer resources to people who for whatever reason, have to give up their pet," said Charleston Animal Society Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Aldwin Roman, CAWA.
