June 13th – 16th
8:30 am – 3:30pm
Ages 12-14

This camp provides a wonderful introduction to veterinary medicine and is a perfect program for any middle school student interested in a career in the medical field. Campers will learn about and participate in activities such as physical exams, reading radiographs, watching surgeries, anti-cruelty investigations, managing disease, practicing injections, performing an ultrasound, and much more! Campers will get to visit Charleston Animal Society’s AHAA Accredited medical clinic in addition to spending time with our shelter animals!

To safely hold camp this year, we have made the following adjustments:

  • Face coverings required for all campers and camp staff members, regardless of vaccination status.
  • Group sizes reduced.  With fewer campers, each individual’s experience (with activities, animal time, etc.) will be amplified.
  • Extended cleaning and safety protocols.

By coming to camp this summer, you are recognizing the risks associated with participating in group activities. Charleston Animal Society in no way warrants that COVID-19 infection will not occur through participation in our programs or accessing our facilities.

IMPORTANT: Before you can sign your child up for camp, you must read and approve the Charleston Animal Society Release of Liability, Medical Consent, Photographic Image Release And Permission to Participate CLICK HERE.
