Important Update: Berkeley Campus Dog Adoptions
Charleston Animal Society’s Berkeley Campus is temporarily suspending dog adoptions due to an upper respiratory outbreak. Our veterinary team has contained the outbreak and is treating affected animals; their health and well-being remain our top priority. Cat and Kitten adoptions are still active during this time, with Free Cat Adoptions and 50% off Kitten Adoptions thanks to Jeff Cook Real Estate.
This temporary pause adds pressure to our already strained dog capacity. You can help by adopting from our Charleston Campus, where dogs ages 1 and older are FREE to adopt thanks to Jeff Cook Real Estate, sharing adoptable animals on social media, or supporting lifesaving efforts found at CharlestonAnimalSociety.org
Thank you for your patience, compassion, and continued support as we care for the animals who depend on us. We’ll share updates as they become available.
