WORLD‘S BEST CAT LITTER TO “GIVE A CRAP” FOR HOMELESS ANIMALS
Social Media Campaign benefits Charleston Animal Society’s Celebrity Paws in the Park Presented by Crews Subaru
Charleston Animal Society announced today a unique social media partnership with World’s Best Cat Litter to “Give a Crap” for homeless animals.
The Animal Society’s Celebrity Paws in the Park fun run and festival takes place Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Riverfront Park in North Charleston, SC from 9 am to 5 pm. The free family event, presented by Crew’s Subaru, features the world-famous Dock Dog® diving competitions and agility and obedience demonstrations by the Charleston Dog Training Club.
To make sure that cats are part of the excitement, World’s Best Cat Litter has stepped up to donate $5 to Charleston Animal Society for every picture of a pet cat in his or her home litter box that is posted to a family’s personal Facebook page or Instagram account with the hashtag #GiveACrap until the donation totals $5,000.
“Finding families for homeless cats is a large part of the work of Charleston Animal Society,” said Joe Elmore, CFRE, CAWA, President and CEO of the organization. “We are so excited to see one of our long-time partners, World’s Best Cat Litter, kick up the dust and help raise funds for cats as part of Celebrity Paws in the Park, the largest community event of the year for Charleston Animal Society.”
“We recognize the importance of the lifesaving work that Charleston Animal Society accomplishes every day for homeless dogs and cats,” said Sabrina Walker, Marketing Specialist for World’s Best Cat Litter. “We wanted to add some levity to raising funds for homeless animals and we thought asking people to post pictures of their cats in litter boxes at home would be fun. Even cats “Give A Crap” about homeless animals!”
World’s Best Cat Litter will be on-site at Celebrity Paws in the Park on March 19th from 9 am to 5 pm with the “World’s Largest Cat” and the “World’s Largest Cat Litter Box.” Families who attend the event with their children will have the opportunity to “scoop” the litter box for prizes as part of the fun-filled day.
