BEGINNING VET CAMP (July)
Does your elementary child want to be a VET? This camp provides a wonderful age-appropriate introduction to veterinary medicine. Campers will be learning about physical exams, injections, radiographs, body language, and of course spending lots of time with our shelter animals! They will also be able to watch a spay/neuter surgery in our AAHA accredited medical clinic and help with the animal’s recovery.
To safely hold camp this year, we have made the following adjustments:
- Face coverings required for all campers and camp staff members, regardless of vaccination status.
- Group sizes reduced. With fewer campers, each individual’s experience (with activities, animal time, etc.) will be amplified.
- Extended cleaning and safety protocols.
By coming to camp this summer, you are recognizing the risks associated with participating in group activities. Charleston Animal Society in no way warrants that COVID-19 infection will not occur through participation in our programs or accessing our facilities.
IMPORTANT: Before you can sign your child up for camp, you must read and approve the Charleston Animal Society Release of Liability, Medical Consent, Photographic Image Release And Permission to Participate CLICK HERE.
