Charleston Animal Society Helps Midlands Shelter in Crisis
We recently received a call for help from one of our sister shelters who had over 100 dogs in their care, many of which were from a court case. This shelter was well over capacity with dogs and had only two staff members.
On Friday, our team members drove one of our transport vans to the shelter to take in a number of these dogs. All of the dogs that were transported are currently being examined by our expert veterinary and behavior teams and will receive any necessary care. They are not yet available for adoption, but we have several wonderful adoptable animals here at the shelter waiting to find a loving home.
The more pets we can get adopted, the more lives we can save. Please make room for one more animal in your home so that we can make room to save one more life.
