We hope you enjoy time with your family as summer begins to wind down with the Labor Day Weekend! Charleston Animal Society will not be open on Monday, September 3rd in observance of the holiday. However, we do have some great adoption opportunities for you and your friends and family!

• Through Sunday, all adoptions at the shelter are 1/2 off!
• On Saturday, join us at Rick Hendrick Jeep (8333 Rivers Ave. in North Charleston) — where the folks at Hendrick are underwriting every adoption!  Celebrate the holiday weekend by looking  at some amazing cars and adopting a new furry family member from 11am – 3pm.
• Also on Saturday (11am – 3pm), Pi Kappa Alpha (PIKE) fraternity members at the College of Charleston (71 George St.) have embarked on a compassionate mission to support the Charleston Animal Society by raising funds and finding loving homes for puppies in need.  The brothers at PIKE will be selling t-shirts to raise money for the animals!
