MEDIA ALERT: CHARLESTON ANIMAL SOCIETY TEAMS UP WITH PAPA JOHNS PIZZA FOR “TAKEOUT DOGS”
Every Papa Johns pizza will have a flyer profiling a long-stay shelter dog looking for a new home.
Thursday | November 3, 2022 | Charleston, SC
WHO: Charleston Animal Society and Papa Johns Pizza
WHAT: Press conference to highlight “Takeout Dogs.” Every pizza delivered in Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester Counties will include a flyer with an adoptable dog who has been in the shelter longer than normal. 14,000 pizzas are delivered every week!
WHERE: Papa Johns Pizza (West Ashley), 1836 Ashley River Rd. in the Crossroads Shopping Center.
WHEN: Friday, November 4, at 11am.
WHY: A packed shelter means Charleston Animal Society continues to be challenged with an adoption crisis when it comes to adult dogs. Papa Johns has graciously stepped up to try and get more of the shelter’s long-stay dogs adopted with this innovative idea. Just bring in the pizza box-top when adopting an adult dog and your family will also receive a pizza party (pizza, side and soda)!
