HUMANE HEROES ( AGES 10-13)
Learn & Volunteer!
Are you interested in learning about animals? Do you want to be actively involved in helping at Charleston Animal Society? Children ages 10-13 are encouraged to register for this engaging and learning-centered volunteer experience!
Humane Heroes (Ages: 10 – 13)
Humane Heroes participants will learn about animals, share ideas, develop new friendships, and help make a difference in the lives of animals and people in our community.
- Students will meet for 4 classes.
- The program fee is $65 per participant. Refunds will not be available to participants who are unable to complete the program. Program fees help offset the cost associated with staffing, materials, and shirt provided.
- The capacity for the program is limited.
- Face coverings are optional for all participants. *Subject to change

FALL 2022 DATES COMING SOON!
Upon completion of Humane Heroes, graduates will be eligible to participate in our Level 2 program, Animal Advocates, in the Spring. Dates coming soon!
IMPORTANT: Before you can sign your child up for Humane Heroes, you must read Charleston Animal Society Release of Liability, Medical Consent, Photographic Image Release And Permission to Participate.
Refund Policy
- 75% refund 14 days or more prior to first day of program.
- 50% refund 7 days prior to first day of program.
- 25% refund 4 days prior to first day of program.
- No refunds will be issued 3 days or less prior to the first day of program.
