DESCRIPTION:Come on down to Ale & Octane on Sunday March 27th! South Carolina’s largest free monthly car event held every 4th Sunday from 12-3 PM at New Realm Brewing. This months charity is Charleston Animal Society and they will be having a raffle for $2 a ticket at the Reflections Auto Spa tent\, they are also accepting toys and food and will have pets available for adoption. We also may be having a competition\, please stay tuned for news on that. As always all makes and models are welcome to attend this family friendly event.\nPlease no burnouts\, donuts\, or excessive revving. Police are on site.\nPlease follow the directions of staff\, and do not park in the cones unless told to.\nAnd don’t forget to donate to the charity! We can’t wait to see y’all there!

DESCRIPTION:CHARLESTON ANIMAL SOCIETY OFFERING FREE VACCINES MARCH 19TH! \nJoint event with Petco Love will “Give Pets Their Best Shot” during March National Pet Vaccination Month \nNORTH CHARLESTON – Charleston Animal Society is partnering with national nonprofit Petco Love to give pets their best shot for a healthy life by hosting a free pet vaccine event on March 19th. \n“Our goal is to vaccinate 250 animals during our event on the old Navy Base in North Charleston\,” said Charleston Animal Society Vice President of Operations and Strategy Aldwin Roman\, CAWA. “National Pet Vaccination Month is a continuation of Petco Love’s 1 million free pet vaccine campaign\, which has helped 400\,000 pets to date. “ \nPetco Love established March as “National Pet Vaccination Month” to encourage pet parents to keep their pets up to date on vaccinations and is providing the free vaccinations to Charleston Animal Society for family pets in need. As puppy and kitten season approaches\, pet exposure to contagious and deadly diseases – parvovirus\, distemper\, and panleukopenia – increases but is preventable with a simple vaccine. \nWHO: Charleston Animal Society and Petco Love\nWHAT: FREE Vaccine Clinic (for dogs and cats): Rabies\, DAPPv Canine and HCP Feline vaccines.\nWHERE: Parking Lot at the intersection of Noisette Drive and Avenue B on the old Navy Base in North Charleston (across from Water Mission 1150 Molly Greene Way Bldg 1605\, North Charleston\, SC 29405). DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 18th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Block Party & Parade\, the biggest St. Patrick’s Day celebration in the Lowcountry\, on Saturday\, March 12\, 2022! The celebration will feature live music\, street vending and fare from Olde North Charleston restaurants\, a Kid’s Zone\, and more. The block party kicks off with a parade starting on Park Place East (adjacent to East Montague Avenue and across from the Park Circle Community Center) at 12:00 noon. \nThe party\, parade and parking are free to the public. Parking is very limited\, please carpool or rideshare and utilize care when parking in adjacent neighborhoods. VIP Parking will be available for $5 at North Charleston High School and will benefit the North Charleston High PTSA and ROTC programs. FREE parking will also be located Noisette Blvd near Virginia avenue – parking map coming soon! \nEast Montague will close between Virginia Avenue and Jenkins Avenue at 9:00am for set up and remain closed until 7:00 pm. Additional closures will occur on Chateau Avenue\, O’Hear Avenue\, Empire avenue and Colie Morse Way. East Montague Avenue between Park Place East and Jenkins Avenue at 11:30am and stay closed for the duration of the parade.

DESCRIPTION:Pup Bowl at Towne Centre\n  \nBecause of the weather forecast for Saturday Pup Bowl has been relocated to the former BiLo space at Sweet Grass Corner. Address is 1909 Highway 17 North\, Mount Pleasant. (next to Towne Centre). \nReady to have a ball? Join us for Towne Centre and Charleston Animal Society’s PUP BOWL V on Saturday\, February 12 from noon to 3pm at The Oaks in Towne Centre. \nPup Bowl V is a pet adoption and family-fun day to benefit Charleston Animal Society. Cheer on the cutest football game you will ever see! The event will also feature fund-raising for CAS\, live music\, balloon animals with Carol\, face painting with Faith\, caricatures with Dawn and more! \nTickets are just $5 per person to benefit Charleston Animal Society and are on sale now – CLICK HERE. Children under 10 are free. \nPup Bowl will be emceed by Silvana Bravo and music by DJ Luigi of Latin Groove Entertainment\, with a very special halftime show featuring live music from Jig & Kelly. \nThe National Anthem will be performed by Brennan McCarrell\, a student from Bach to Rock and a 6th grader at Moultrie Middle School.  When Brennan is not practicing her music\, she enjoys crafting and hanging out with her friends. Brennan’s family LOVES animals and has four dogs; two cats and a fish. \nPlus\, cheerleaders from Wando High School will be rooting the teams on from the sidelines. \nTowne Centre has a special treat from Hairy Winston Pet Boutique for all guests who visit the MPTC registration table and like MPTC on Facebook\, follow MPTC on Instagram or register a valid email address. \nFood + snacks available from Zimos Gyros\, New Dog Hot Dog Cart and Holy City Popcorn\, plus beer & wine from Burtons Grill. \nBrowse your favorite vendors and stores such as  South Carolina Federal Credit Union\, Local Dog\, Park West Veterinary Associates\, lululemon\, Copper Penny\, Hyatt Place Mount Pleasant Towne Centre\, Pleasant Eye Care\, Peloton\, ivy & leo & more. \nKickoff is at 12:30!\nRules of the Game: \n*Adoption registration will run from 11:30am to 12:15. \n*Potential adopters must visit the CAS Registration Table prior to kickoff to receive a registration number. \n*Potential adopters wishing to register AFTER kickoff time MAY be accepted on a case-by-case basis. \n*Adoptions will be decided by random drawing. \n*If your number is selected\, you may choose a remaining pup from that quarter only.
