DESCRIPTION:At Rise Above Tattoo Studio\, Trent will tell anyone who knows him that he finds a way to bring up Jewels in just about every conversation. She has been his one constant since 2015\, when he adopted her from his hometown Humane Society in West Virginia. \nA few weeks ago\, what seemed like a simple limp led to heartbreaking news. After a vet visit\, Jewels was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. While their time together will be shorter than he ever imagined\, Trent is choosing to turn this painful moment into something positive. \nIn honor of Jewels\, he is partnering with Charleston Animal Society for a special fundraiser running from his birthday\, January 14\, through Jewels’ birthday\, April 20. During that time\, 50% of all profits from select tattoo designs will be donated directly to Charleston Animal Society to help animals in need. \nHe will also be releasing a small batch of hand-painted flash sheets available for purchase for those who would like to support the cause in that way. \nTrent’s hope is simple: to help raise the funds that someone else’s future “Jewels” will need before they find their forever homes. \nAppointments can be booked by calling the shop at 843-534-3110. DESCRIPTION:At Rise Above Tattoo Studio\, Trent will tell anyone who knows him that he finds a way to bring up Jewels in just about every conversation. She has been his one constant since 2015\, when he adopted her from his hometown Humane Society in West Virginia. \nA few weeks ago\, what seemed like a simple limp led to heartbreaking news. After a vet visit\, Jewels was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. While their time together will be shorter than he ever imagined\, Trent is choosing to turn this painful moment into something positive. \nIn honor of Jewels\, he is partnering with Charleston Animal Society for a special fundraiser running from his birthday\, January 14\, through Jewels’ birthday\, April 20. During that time\, 50% of all profits from select tattoo designs will be donated directly to Charleston Animal Society to help animals in need. \nHe will also be releasing a small batch of hand-painted flash sheets available for purchase for those who would like to support the cause in that way. \nTrent’s hope is simple: to help raise the funds that someone else’s future “Jewels” will need before they find their forever homes. \nAppointments can be booked by calling the shop at 843-534-3110. DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Annual St. Patrick’s Day Block Party & Parade\, the biggest St. Patrick’s Day celebration in the Lowcountry\, on Saturday\, March 14\, 2026! The celebration will feature live music\, street vending and fare from Olde North Charleston restaurants\, a Kid’s Zone\, and more. The party\, parade and parking are free to the public. This event is presented by the Park Circle Business Collective with support from the City of North Charleston. Make sure to Stop by at Charleston Animal Society table! \nEast Montague will close between Virginia Avenue and Jenkins Avenue at 9:00am for set up and remain closed until 7:00 pm. Additional closures will occur on Chateau Avenue\, O’Hear Avenue\, Empire avenue and Colie Morse Way. East Montague Avenue between Park Place East and Jenkins Avenue at 11:30am and stay closed for the duration of the parade. \nThe block party kicks off with a parade starting on Park Place East (adjacent to East Montague Avenue and across from the Park Circle Community Center) at 12:00 noon.
