Space is limited for each session\, so advance purchase is recommended.\nSession 1: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.\nSession 2: 1-3 p.m.\nEvent Notes\n– Event cancellation and refund policy.\nSwimming is for dogs only.\n– Humans should not enter the water past knee depth.\n– All dogs must be current on the following vaccinations: rabies\, distemper\, parvo and bordetella.\n– Prior to entering the waterpark\, please walk your dog to help him/her relieve themselves\, and be sure to pick up any waste. Waste bags will be available. We would like to avoid accidents in the pool as much as possible.\n– Your dog may be released from the leash upon entering the waterparks.\n– Please do not trim your dog’s nails prior to attending Dog Day Afternoon. The event provides an opportunity for Charleston residents to experience Hispanic food\, dance\, and music. The primary mission of the Charleston Cinco de Mayo Festival is to encourage togetherness between diverse communities in the Charleston area. Secondly\, the festival promotes awareness of Charleston Animal Society and raises funds for their programs. Charleston Cinco de Mayo Festival has a diverse crowd and everyone has one thing in common: a desire for good music\, dancing and a love of a good time.

DESCRIPTION:CHARLESTON ANIMAL SOCIETY OFFERING FREE VACCINES MARCH 19TH! \nJoint event with Petco Love will “Give Pets Their Best Shot” during March National Pet Vaccination Month \nNORTH CHARLESTON – Charleston Animal Society is partnering with national nonprofit Petco Love to give pets their best shot for a healthy life by hosting a free pet vaccine event on March 19th. \n“Our goal is to vaccinate 250 animals during our event on the old Navy Base in North Charleston\,” said Charleston Animal Society Vice President of Operations and Strategy Aldwin Roman\, CAWA. “National Pet Vaccination Month is a continuation of Petco Love’s 1 million free pet vaccine campaign\, which has helped 400\,000 pets to date. “ \nPetco Love established March as “National Pet Vaccination Month” to encourage pet parents to keep their pets up to date on vaccinations and is providing the free vaccinations to Charleston Animal Society for family pets in need. As puppy and kitten season approaches\, pet exposure to contagious and deadly diseases – parvovirus\, distemper\, and panleukopenia – increases but is preventable with a simple vaccine. \nWHO: Charleston Animal Society and Petco Love\nWHAT: FREE Vaccine Clinic (for dogs and cats): Rabies\, DAPPv Canine and HCP Feline vaccines.\nWHERE: Parking Lot at the intersection of Noisette Drive and Avenue B on the old Navy Base in North Charleston (across from Water Mission 1150 Molly Greene Way Bldg 1605\, North Charleston\, SC 29405). Look for our signs and vehicles!\nWHEN: March 19th from 9am – 2pm\nWHY: This FREE resource will help reduce the spread of disease and ensure the health and wellness of our community’s pets. \n“Treatment for these deadly diseases can be prohibitively expensive for many pet parents\,” said Susanne Kogut\, Petco Love President. “By providing free vaccines to those in need\, we can\nhelp these pets live a healthy life. SUMMARY:The City of North Charleston's 18th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Block Party & Parade
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 18th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Block Party & Parade\, the biggest St. Patrick’s Day celebration in the Lowcountry\, on Saturday\, March 12\, 2022! The celebration will feature live music\, street vending and fare from Olde North Charleston restaurants\, a Kid’s Zone\, and more. The block party kicks off with a parade starting on Park Place East (adjacent to East Montague Avenue and across from the Park Circle Community Center) at 12:00 noon. \nThe party\, parade and parking are free to the public. Parking is very limited\, please carpool or rideshare and utilize care when parking in adjacent neighborhoods. VIP Parking will be available for $5 at North Charleston High School and will benefit the North Charleston High PTSA and ROTC programs. FREE parking will also be located Noisette Blvd near Virginia avenue – parking map coming soon! \nEast Montague will close between Virginia Avenue and Jenkins Avenue at 9:00am for set up and remain closed until 7:00 pm. Additional closures will occur on Chateau Avenue\, O’Hear Avenue\, Empire avenue and Colie Morse Way. East Montague Avenue between Park Place East and Jenkins Avenue at 11:30am and stay closed for the duration of the parade.

Address is 1909 Highway 17 North\, Mount Pleasant. (next to Towne Centre). \nReady to have a ball? Join us for Towne Centre and Charleston Animal Society’s PUP BOWL V on Saturday\, February 12 from noon to 3pm at The Oaks in Towne Centre. \nPup Bowl V is a pet adoption and family-fun day to benefit Charleston Animal Society. Cheer on the cutest football game you will ever see! The event will also feature fund-raising for CAS\, live music\, balloon animals with Carol\, face painting with Faith\, caricatures with Dawn and more! \nTickets are just $5 per person to benefit Charleston Animal Society and are on sale now – CLICK HERE. Children under 10 are free. \nPup Bowl will be emceed by Silvana Bravo and music by DJ Luigi of Latin Groove Entertainment\, with a very special halftime show featuring live music from Jig & Kelly. \nThe National Anthem will be performed by Brennan McCarrell\, a student from Bach to Rock and a 6th grader at Moultrie Middle School.  When Brennan is not practicing her music\, she enjoys crafting and hanging out with her friends.
