SUMMARY:Puppy Love 5k Run & Walk
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 2nd annual Puppy Love 5K! \nJoin the Pack for a 5K run or walk with and for your best four-legged friends. \nThis race is 100% dog friendly for all well socialized pups on a leash. We do ask that any owners running with dogs be prepared with a pick up bag to attend to any unscheduled potty breaks on the course. \nYou can run with a dog or without.  Limit one dog per handler.  1 runner + 1 dog = $45.  Minimum age for a runner with a dog is 12 years old.  Kids 10 and under run free\, but must be accompanied by an adult and do not receive race swag and are not officially timed. \nThere will be awards for the top 3 male and female finishers with a dog\, as well as: \n\nBest Dog in pajamas\nBest Dog/Owner in pajamas\nBest Group in pajamas\nBest Overall pajama theme\nDoggy Dash winner\n\nAll prizes sponsored by Dolittle’s Pet Shop. \nAfter the race\, stick around for an owner/dog 100 yard Dash Race! \nNew this year–be sure to check out the tennis ball field\, stick crossing and squirrel overlook! \nThe race will take place on Saturday\, February 8th at 9:00am at the beautiful Palmetto Island Park in Mount Pleasant.  Free park entry and parking is available in the park with your race entry. \nAll participants will receive a race t-shirt and matching bandana for their puppy love. \nHot chocolate and human and pup treats will be available post race. \nShare the love with your favorite furry valentine and run our Puppy Love 5K run! \nThe event will support the Charleston Animal Society. \nPacket Pick Up will take place at Blue Sky Endurance at 624 Coleman Blvd on Friday\, February 7th from 10am – 6pm and Saturday from 8am – 8:30am at Palmetto Island Park. \nSign Up Today! https://runsignup.com/Race/SC/MountPleasant/PuppyLove5KRunWalk?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTAAAR0ZFaIaanRaJglKILAQ7RB7_2nWqkj08CyBeXuEL5exXjXZWriW3FSAzug_aem_I8e329kGrGA8XPD3Dsxz7g
