In honor of Jeff Cook of Jeff Cook Real Estate’s birthday\, adoption fees for all animals in the shelter from October 23rd to the 29th will be waived. Each year\, Jeff Cook Real Estate sponsors 100 adoptions to celebrate Cook’s birthday. \nThe first 100 animals adopted at the shelter (2455 Remount Road in North Charleston) will be free. “Having partners like Jeff Cook is what makes our No Kill Community thrive\,” said Charleston Animal Society President and CEO Joe Elmore\, CFRE\, CAWA. “Each year they step forward to save animal lives.”

DESCRIPTION:Join Freshfields Village for the annual Dogtoberfest on Saturday\, October 28 from 1:00 to 5:00 pm on the village green. Guests are invited to bring their furry friends to the Village for a pet expo to benefit local rescue organizations. The Pet Expo is free and family friendly with activities including an adoptable meet & greet with local rescue groups\, pet vendors\, pet costume contest and music.
