DESCRIPTION:The Third Annual Rescue Brew Beer Spokesdog and Spokescat star search is underway!  All the pets have been nominated and now is your chance to vote for your favorite! Each vote is just $1.00. — and every vote cast helps us save more lives. Winners will appear on the labels of the “2022 Rescue Brew Beer” from Palmetto Brewing Company.  Anyone can vote for their favorites August 15\, 2022 to September 14\, 2022.  One Grand Prize-Winning Dog and one Grand Prize-Winning Cat will be announced in October\, 2022 and the 2022 Rescue Brew Beer will be available at the Palmetto Brewing Company Charleston Taproom and retailers across the Lowcountry this Fall. \nNominate your pet at CharlestonAnimalSociety.org/RescueBrew.

Day-of tickets are $20 per dog\, if the sessions haven’t sold out. Owners are free with their pets. Space is limited for each session\, so advance purchase is recommended.\nSession 1: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.\nSession 2: 1-3 p.m.\nEvent Notes\n– Event cancellation and refund policy.\nSwimming is for dogs only.\n– Humans should not enter the water past knee depth.\n– All dogs must be current on the following vaccinations: rabies\, distemper\, parvo and bordetella.\n– Prior to entering the waterpark\, please walk your dog to help him/her relieve themselves\, and be sure to pick up any waste. Waste bags will be available. We would like to avoid accidents in the pool as much as possible.\n– Your dog may be released from the leash upon entering the waterparks.\n– Please do not trim your dog’s nails prior to attending Dog Day Afternoon. Dogs will be running on the concrete area and nails will wear down quickly.\n– Your dog must remain under your control at all times.\n– Please be aware of where your dog is at all times.\n– Be sure your dog has been exposed to swimming prior to the event.\n– Female dogs in season are not allowed.\n– Puppies under six months of age are not allowed.\n– Outside food and drink – dog and human – is not allowed in the pool area.\n– Concessions will be available for human visitors\, but must be eaten in the concessions area.
