SUMMARY:Nominate Your Pet for Rescue Brew!
DESCRIPTION:The Third Annual Rescue Brew Beer Spokesdog and Spokescat star search is underway!  Winners will appear on the labels of the “2022 Rescue Brew Beer” from Palmetto Brewing Company.  Pet owners are being asked to submit a photo of their favorite dogs and cats at www.CharlestonAnimalSociety.org/RescueBrew  and tell us why their pet deserves to win.  Nominations are open July 15\, 2022 until August 14\, 2022.  A $10 entry donation with each nomination supports the lifesaving programs of Charleston Animal Society.  Anyone can vote for their favorites August 15\, 2022 to September 14\, 2022.  One Grand Prize-Winning Dog and one Grand Prize-Winning Cat will be announced in October\, 2022 and the 2022 Rescue Brew Beer will be available at the Palmetto Brewing Company Charleston Taproom and retailers across the Lowcountry this Fall. \nNominate your pet at CharlestonAnimalSociety.org/RescueBrew.

SUMMARY:Clear the Shelters 2022: Fee Waived Adoptions All Month!
DESCRIPTION:CLEAR THE SHELTERS RETURNS\nFEE WAIVED ADOPTIONS THROUGHOUT AUGUST 2022 \nCharleston Animal Society has joined NBCUniversal Local’s 2022 Clear The Shelters pet adoption and donation Aug. 1 to 31. This is the eighth consecutive year NBC and Telemundo owned stations are partnering with affiliate stations and animal shelters and rescues to promote pet adoption and help raise funds to support animal welfare. Since its inception in 2015\, Clear The Shelters has helped more than 700\,000 pets find new homes. \nThe 2022 Clear The Shelters will again feature online donations through partners Greater Good Charities and The Animal Rescue Site\, which will host fundraising and cover transaction fees so that 100 percent of donations go directly to shelters and rescues. Donations can be made to participating shelters or rescues during the campaign at ClearTheSheltersFund.org\, which is also accessible via ClearTheShelters.com. \nVirtual pet adoptions are also returning for the fourth consecutive campaign through Clear The Shelters partner WeRescue. The WeRescue app enables users to search for adoptable pets in their area by breed\, gender\, size and other factors on their smartphone.
