Ending cruelty isn’t possible without your help. Won’t you please help animals in need?
The coronavirus is impacting all of us in ways we never imagined just a week ago. And despite these challenges, our fight to end animal cruelty doesn’t stop. In the past week, we’ve seen 11 animals caught in a web of cruelty: a burned dog, neglected horses and animals who were starved.
There’s no denying that animal cruelty is on the rise across the Lowcountry and we need your help now.

All of our pets come spay-neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Can you make room for one more? When you adopt, you save a life!

Charleston Animal Society touches the lives of 20,000 animals each year, whether it is through our lifesaving efforts, adoption, spay-neuter or other rescue services.

Our Sam Greer Spay-Neuter Clinic is accredited by AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association), representing the highest standards of veterinary excellence.
Outreach
Thanks to community and national partners, Charleston Animal Society is able to provide services to people and their pets who may not get them otherwise in both rural and urban communities. We also provide humane education in classrooms and summer camps.
Animal Advocacy
Charleston Animal Society’s bedrock principle is the prevention of cruelty to animals. We will always strive to be the voice of animals in our community and beyond and fight cruelty, wherever it exists.

Almost every weekend you will find Charleston Animal Society at a variety of community events, showcasing our amazing adoptable animals. You can also see our adoptable cats and dogs at area Petcos and PetSmarts on a rotating basis. Come say hello!
