CLASSROOM PROGRAMMING

Charleston Animal Society would like to enhance your classroom with our animal and compassion-based curriculum! Our SC State Standard aligned lessons are tailored to your students to help build character, kindness, and animal knowledge.

In light of the ongoing pandemic, our resources are more limited this year.  As such, we’ve turned towards a fundraising strategy to continue this important work while also allowing students the opportunity to truly impact the lives of animals.  This program highlights how Charleston Animal Society actively works to protect animals within the community and how students can directly play a role in this lifesaving mission.

As a classroom, pledge a minimum of $60 to receive an exclusive behind-the-scenes virtual tour of our facility, including glimpses into our puppy pod, kitten ICU, and surgical unit.  After seeing the plight of homeless animals, many students will feel compelled to act.  We have designed additional fundraising levels and incentives for those who want to do more.  Check out our FUNdraising tiers below!

  • Level 1 ($60): Virtual tour + Compassion Hero stickers
  • Level 2 ($100): Virtual tour + Additional virtual lesson of your choice (live spay/neuter surgery, all about small animals, dog training, etc.)
  • Level 3 ($150): Virtual tour + In-person classroom visit with ambassador animal guest
  • Level 4 ($150+) Virtual tour + In-person classroom visit with ambassador animal guest + Surprise swag item for each student
