Each year, Charleston Animal Society tirelessly works to address the issue of pet overpopulation by providing affordable spay and neuter services at their AAHA-accredited Sam Greer Spay Neuter Clinic. By offering these essential procedures, Charleston Animal Society prevents countless animals from ending up homeless, suffering, or being euthanized due to overcrowded shelters.

Last year almost 3,400 animals were euthanized in the Lowcountry due to overpopulation. Spay-Neuter is the solution to ending unnecessary euthanasia. Every animal that is fixed, is one less animal creating unwanted litters of dogs and cats that wind up in shelters across our state.
